I was and still moved by this young lady. When i saw her recite at the inauguration, i was suddenly inspired to be creating and draw again after a long, long bout of self-pity and depression that caused a frustrating creative block.
After Amanda Gorman’s moving poem “The Hill We Climb”, something clicked!. So as homage to her for delivering a moving and poignant poem, I created this illustration.
